Alex M. Preisser joined Mitigation Marketing in January 2015. She has over twelve years of environmental consulting experience and offers a wide-ranging background in biological sciences.
Her training and experience include biology, botany, conservation biology, ecology, project management and land management practices. Her areas of expertise include wetland jurisdictional determinations, environmental resource permitting, NEPA compliance, PD&E Studies, listed species surveys, mitigation planning, and ecological site assessments. Her responsibilities include coordination of project specifications with permit requirements and technical scientific analyses. She has a wide range of project experience including, but not limited to, extensive land development and transportation related jobs for public and private clients alike.
Alexis has a great working knowledge of the permitting process and criteria established by federal, state and local environmental regulatory agencies. She is an Authorized Gopher Tortoise Agent as recognized by FWC and has performed numerous gopher tortoise relocations throughout the state. In addition she is a Qualified Stormwater Management Inspector (FDEP).
As part of her responsibilities at Mitigation Marketing, Alex will oversee the on-site restoration activities as well as manage federal and state permit compliance at our banks located throughout the state, as well as managing the marketing and sales of mitigation credits.
She currently serves on the Orange County Environmental Protection Commission and the Florida Association of Environmental Professionals Statewide Board.
Previously she served on the Boards of the Orange County Environmental Streamlining Task Force, Central Florida Association of Environmental Professionals, and Back to Nature.
